Weekly Snap! September 14th 2026

Welcome again to Monday and the Weekly Snap where I give a quick update on my works in progress and other relevant news.

Novels

Glissa Ruse is still moving forward. I finally have an official updated word count. It is at 44,243 words, which is about 88% complete according to my 50k word target. However it seems like it's going to go over and be closer to 60-65k words. Read the story here https://www.honeyfeed.fm/novels/31760

Children's Books

Slow Down 2 (title pending) is in the outline phase. Following the completion of Glissa Ruse, this is my next main project.

Other News

I had to pause my reading of On Writing and Worldbuilding Vol 1 by Timothy Hickson AKA Hello Future Me on YouTube because I haven't found it yet after my move. Instead I started and finished Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson. Next, I'll likely start on Firefight by Brandon Sanderson, which is book 2 of the Reckoners series.

And that's the end of this week's snap! Thanks for reading! See you next week!
